New Waterfront Concept Plan Released

$6 MILLION BP GRANT

Engineers from GMC presented the new scaled-back working waterfront plan proposal for feedback from the city council and public.

The city council will have to vote  (possibly in two weeks) to give its blessing before the proposal moves ahead.

Precisely! An upgraded park and pier--open to the general public--is pure, evil genius. Indeed, the plan is so brilliant that I cannot even figure out how it works. Thank goodness for Internet trolls who can see the world as it isn't.

I see nothing in this plan to restore the Magnolia beach park . Sally demolish a lot of trees , lights and caused a lot of erosion in this area .

We go there and let the kids run around, watch the sunsets, take a walk, have picnics, etc. We are not wealthy or have a pet.

This is far better than the original plan.

I just wished someone will clean up the sunken boat mess. It is an eyesore. The facilities out on the pier look like a brownfield in the making.
