Roundabout Coming To CR 32 Intersection Too

Fairhope, Alabama

Cr 13 / Cr 32 intersection.

4 WAY STOP NOW

The city council donated .21 areas of recreation land to the county for construction of a roundabout at the Cr 32 / Cr 13 intersection southeast of town.

Construction could begin later this year if funding is appropriated by the county commission, according to an engineer for the project.

Why is a round-about needed at this intersection? I travel this way often and have never had to wait to get thru this intersection. Someone must be making some money on these round-abouts!

Finish 181to 98 & a I10 ramp at the end of 13 . Merry Go Rounds are just a poor patch .

"Finish 181to 98 & a I10 ramp at the end of 13 ."

How, exactly, will an I-10 ramp emptying directly onto 13 ease traffic at 13/32?

Why does the Fairhope-Can-Do-No-Right crowd harbor such antipathy toward facts, logic, and reason?

Well, actually smart people are looking to ease traffic congestion all along the Eastern shore, not just one little intersection where there is no congestion. It is a fact, very logical and totally reasonable!

Here's a fact: A Cr 13 ramp to I-10 will increase traffic on Cr 13. Which will exacerbate traffic issues at the 13/32 intersection--the reason for the roundabout and the subject of the news story.

Now, a Cr 13/I-10 ramp will surely ease traffic on 98 and 181, but that's not the question before us. So, the "poor patch" criticism remains inapt.

Yes, any rational person who drives around the Eastern Shore would appreciate less congestion, but that does not make them smarter than anyone else. It simply makes them rational.

While I appreciate your clarification, Brother, there's little use arguing with Leftists. How do I know you're arguing with a Leftist? Three pieces of evidence...

First, zhe identifies zherself as smarter than (and therefore superior to) all who disagree zher. Second, the negativity is an equally common tell. Third, and almost always, facts will not get in the way of emotion (N.B. the exclamatory punctuation).

I'd like to believe that if we ignore them, eventually they will go away.

The Fairhope-Can-Do-No-Right crowd Is the voice of reason . Maybe the City could get real & work on getting it’s citizens vaccinated & keeping them safe. The Governor sure would like that & could give some money to fix our traffic problems .
