| New landscaping plan. |
The city council authorized the public works department to proceed with a new landscaping plan for the city's clock corner, including pavers, seating, trees and other landscaping.
Council members favored the design with a brick seating , as well as removable patio furniture.
Pubic Works director Richard Johnson said the paver project could be ready to put out for bids as soon as the next council meeting; the city is to handle installation of trees an other plantings.
Pavers will be interchangeable as needed, per the city's longstanding memorial pavers program.
Christian Preus is the landscape architect.
