More Old Fairhope Homes Demolished

314-16 Magnolia Avenue

 

Two familiar old homes in the 300 block of Magnolia Avenue in downtown Fairhope were demolished today. One that was once owned by the founding Mershon family dated from 1899, according to local historian Donnie Barrett.

The homes have been used for various commercial businesses in recent years.

No plans for the site have been announced publicly yet.
