March 1st is the new projected opening day for the Aldi grocery on Fairhope Avenue at Hwy 181, according to the company's website.
None of the earlier dates have been accurate, but this one seems more realistic; utility re-location is underway and paving of the parking lot is about to get started.
Bad weather could cause more delays though.
