New Parking Lot Plan Implemented

Fairhope, Alabama

100 S. Greeno Road.

EASTERN SHORE VILLAGE CENTER

Work has started on re-configuring the adjacent parking lot where the new Starbucks store is nearing completion nearby.

The revised plan, presented when the site plan for the coffee shop was being approved last year, includes more greenery -- and pedestrian-friendly enhancements. (There may have been changes since then.)

Revised plan.

Less pavement is a good thing

Nice! I'll appreciate the much-needed new configuration as I enjoy sipping my coffee...from anywhere else in town other than USSRbucks.

Young people can not afford the high cost of houses around here so we have to rent.

It has always been the worst parking lot in town. Poorly designed.

A lot of traffic for only one exit. How about a bypass lane for those who change their mind?

Young people may not be able to afford a house, but they can afford a $6.00 coffee? It is all in their priorities.

We’ll have to look at parallel parking on Greeno for hospital parking. Let’s close down Big Lots and put in another sorely needed Walmart on the West side of Fairhope. That will fill up the lot.
