Stadium Restrooms Demolished; Being Replaced

VOLANTA PARK

The old restroom building at the northwest-side entrance of the municipal stadium at Volanta Park was demolished; but will be replaced with a new concession/bathroom facility.

Klarman & Day General Contractors, LLC was low bidder at $388K (NTE); completion timeline is uncertain.


New design.

How about the restrooms at the Pier Street boat launch that the city destroyed & have not replaced

Pier street restroom was removed to make way for improvements to the sewage lift station to prevent overflows. They are to be replaced according to the mayor. Probably in next years budget cycle.

With football season just around the corner, this seems like a bad plan. Maybe should have thought of a little sooner, but no, that makes too much sense.
