Update: The road was paved but remained closed Friday afternoon. Apparently some final "checklist" items still need to be addressed.
NEW FLYING CREEK NATURE PARK
The tunnel under Veterans Drive is nearly completed and he road may be paved and reopened this week, according to a project engineer.
Connecting walking/biking trails are being constricted now on the west side and under design on the east.
