300 DAYS TO COMPLETE IT

Construction is slated to finally begin on the flowerclock-junction roundabout at the city's northern entrance this week.  

Asphalt Services was the low bidder at $1.6 million, with 80% federal/state grant funding. They have 300 days for completion.

An Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization project.

Publisher: Will they keep Scenic, Veterans and 104 open during construction? How does this dovetail with the church road re-alignment?

The city engineer says it will remain passable mostly but expect some delays. This has nothing to do with the church project; they are still raising funds we understand.

I’m guessing there will be some “housing under development” signs placed there for advertising.
