New well 14

 IN TIME FOR SUMMER

After completion of maintenance-painting of two water tank-towers and pump repair at well number 2, the city's water system is back at maximum capacity according to the mayor.

Hot summer months of July and August are typically when the highest useage occurs, because of irrigation (lawn watering).

Two new wells are expected to be coming online soon too she said, wells 13 and 14.

If we have plenty of water ... what will all the miserable people have to complane about then?

Define "soon"... So what is the city's daily water capacity now? I'm sure the mayor doesn't want a water "emergency" during the election window.

She still says by the end of the month ... but we here at the Times have our doubts about that ....

Publisher should request permits from the state. The state permit will tell you what is permitted gpm for each well. Just because you hope a well will produce a million gallons per day does not mean it will at the end. That's why the amounts probably don't match what originally was wrote about on any of the new wells put in the last year or two. Yes will be more water and any extra will benefit the city. But really how much is the real amount? Not a guess but what is permitted.

Interested individual Citizens may request that same information. City has 11 wells currently with 600K to 1000K gallons per minute produced by each. The two new wells will be in that same range.
