This will be great! I can't wait for them to open. It's a beautiful building and a great location, but I think that Ferus failed because of horrible service. This donut shop should be a hit! Good luck.

Oh Great! Another fancy/pansy pastry and coffee shop. Just what we need. When are we going to get something in this town for real people?

They are going to have to sell a massive amount of donuts and coffee to keep a positive cash flow

Yes, that would be great! As for the Cafe Viola my wife and I spent a little over $100 for lunch, and our meals were inedible, and service was horrible.

How many socially acceptable business have you opened in Fairhope since the day you strolled down the gangway of the Mayflower when it docked along the Eastern Shore?

Uh, the no franchise idea flew the coop a LONG time ago. Greer’s is a chain. Honey Baked Ham - chain. Another Broken Egg - chain. Cactus Cantina isn’t unique to Fairhope. Monkee’s has locations all over the Southeast. The Spice and Tea Exchange is a chain also. Obviously Hampton Inn is. My bigger concern is whether they can sell enough donuts to pay their rent, but it sounds like they are featuring full meals as well as coffee so they should be serving all day. And who doesn’t like donuts????? Could be something FAR worse!
