EMERGENCY DEMOLITION AUTHORIZED
After receiving numerous complaints from neighbors, a small "house" at #7 Woods Avenue just west of Volanta Park is to be demolished by the city.
S.L.M. Lot Clearing Company was authorized to do the work for $7,500, after an individual related to the property owners who has been living there is relocated, according to city attorney Chris Williams.
A lien could be placed on the property later to recover costs. Work could start within a week, Williams said.
County land records show the owner as Arthur Smith, Et al.
