PARKING LOT FULL TODAY
Numerous visitors were checking out the new Flying Creek Nature Park this afternoon; many had their dogs with them on leashes.
The parking lot at the Main Street entrance was already full this morning by 11:30 and people were parking wherever there was room.
The nature center building is closed (still under construction) but restrooms are available at the east end of the Carriage Road Trail.
Numerous signs and plaques along the trails explain features in the park a-- nd identify native plants there.
