FORMER BASEBALL FIELD
New electric lighting is being installed by the Electric Department in the grass parking area on the south side of Volanta Park -- before the start of the high school football season later this month (Aug. 29).
The field-striping robot will be used to stripe the parking lot spaces as well, according to recreation sources.
