EASEMENT CAUSED DELAYED
Contractors were making final connections to city water well number 13 on Boone Lane in the River Park community today.
Drilled in early 2024 and originally expected to be online earlier this year, it was delayed while an easement was obtained from the adjacent landowner for the pipeline to nearby treatment plant 3, according to water department manager Morefield.
Electrical power to the pump is being connected now too.
When in operation this well will be able to produce up to 850K gallons of water per day.
