DOWNTOWN FAIRHOPE

Mayor Sullivan and councilman Gammon led the annual Veterans Day Parade through the streets of downtown today. 

This parade has always been held on the Saturday before the official holiday here (Tuesday).

Once again a weak turnout to celebrate our Veterans. I wonder if how many of our children even know what Veteran’s Day represents. Families need to get off the couch and get some fresh air. Pretend that it’s Mardi Gras.
