Ladd's last meeting.

 

GEORGE LADD

Thursday was public works director George Ladd's last city council meeting; he is moving his family to Dayton, Tennessee to become city manager there beginning Jan. 5.

Ladd was assistant PW director for several years before moving up in 2023. He is a 1998 graduate of Fairhope High School.

Current assistant PW director John Thomas will assume the PW director's role in Fairhope for now.
