FOR STATION ONE
The city council voted to purchase a new E-ONE Cyclone pumper truck from Sunbelt Fire Inc. for $963K to be housed at station number one for use in the downtown area because of its shorter, more-maneuverable wheelbase, according to a fire department spokesman.
Lead time will be about 12 months before delivery; it will replace an older truck.
Cost will be spread over multiple budget years.
