MYSTIC MUTTS OF REVELRY 

Well dressed dogs of all sizes and shapes led their owners through the streets of downtown Fairhope this morning in the annual fundraiser for 'The Haven' animal shelter.

Mayor Sullivan said she did not bring her own dog this time; but walked with her new grandbaby instead.

The dogs were great, but not the people who though that their yapping little dog was entitled to watch the parade while sitting on a table...where we eat...at Parlor Doughnuts. The narcissism is beyond measure.

Saw that. Seemed like they were daring someone to comment on their precious "fur baby." Getting tired of these obnoxious people and their dogs in restaurants, grocery stores, etc. On a regular basis, we have to step off the sidewalk and into the street to avoid contact. Dogs are also allowed to climb into and relieve themselves in our flower beds, downtown. You're right: pure narcissism. None of the the dogs bite, of course...until they do.

Well, unlike the people who don't train them, dogs are blameless, beautiful-souled, heaven-sent creatures. Cats, on the other hand, are the spawn of Satan. These are proven facts.
