RESTORE GRANT FUNDED
Mayor Sullivan, council members, and Dogwood Trail Maids marked the successful completion of the $10+ million Waterfront Renovation project during a brief ceremony this afternoon; the fountain and rose garden area was renamed in honor of former mayor Tim Kant as well.
Most of the project's funding was provided by a federal RESTORE grant, using 2010 BP oil spill fine money.
