After 20 years with the city, it was announced during a city council meeting PGA Professional and the city's Director of Golf at its Quail Creek course will be retiring later this year; he left city employment for a while in December 2017 but decided to return in 2021.
The search is on for a new director; Hall will stay on a while to help with training his replacement (until about October).
