City Garbage Truck Wrecked/Replaced

Wrecked truck.

 

REAR LOADER TYPE

The city council authorized $222K to purchase a 2025 rear-loading garbage truck to replace a 2023 model that was totaled in a wreck recently.

The city's insurance is providing $192K reimbursement. 

The driver was not seriously injured, according to city's public works director Thomas.

That is too bad, and thank goodness no one was injured. Our City workers do a fantastic job. The driving public doesn’t much to support them with the speeding, distracted driving, recklessness. We are losing our civility and courtesy.
