UPDATE OF 2023 MASTER PLAN
The Baldwin County planning commission is to consider a draft update to their 2023 Master Plan during their regular August 6 public meeting.
Out of three possibilities, a "focused growth" strategy is preferred by the amended plan to deter "sprawl"; the entire draft plan can be viewed here (click).
NEW PLANNING DIRECTOR SOUGHT TOO
With the recent departure of Jay Dickson a new county planning director is being sought as well; planning manager Celena Boykin will be interim director.
