ROAD COULD REOPEN SOON
The new tunnel under CR 3 being installed by developers of the new Point Clear Golf Club project about 4 miles south of Fairhope is almost ready to allow for the road to reopen, although considerable work remains around approaches to the tunnel itself.
The tunnel will allow pedestrians and golf carts to cross the road between holes two and three safely; a 310 lot residential project is planned for both sides of the road as well.
The clubhouse is to be on the west side.
