Lauren Weber, the producer of the 'Love in Fairhope' romantic/comedy series that has been filming around town said in an interview on Cam Marston's 'What's Working' podcast recently she liked Fairhope so much ... she decided to move here herself!
UPDATE. Biography from her web page: "Lauren is an Emmy-nominated producer who has been developing, selling and producing television in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and several parts of the world for over 15 years. After showrunning some of the biggest hits on the air, Lauren opened her own boutique production company, Tremont Road. Currently, Tremont Road is one of the only production companies in non-fiction programming that is solely owned and operated by a woman.
In the early days of Lauren’s career, she cut her teeth producing studio-based competition series such as America’s Next Top Model for The CW. Soon after, she spent several years developing and selling shows for Discovery Studios and Fremantle Media, during which she created, sold and Co-Executive Produced City Girl Diaries for the Style Network and developed straight to series and Co-Executive Produced Married to Medicine Houston for Bravo.
Lauren went on to Executive Produce shows such as Shahs of Sunset and Summer House for Bravo, the cult classic reboot The Hills: New Beginnings for MTV and the critically acclaimed and Emmy nominated series, Skin Decision: Before and After for Netflix.
When Lauren isn’t producing television or looking for the next best story to tell, you’ll most likely find her with her amazing friends and family, at the beach with her mutter-doodle Duke, her church Bel Air Presbyterian or spending time at her home away from home in lower Alabama."
