STEEET SWEEPER/GAS BORING MACHINE APPROVED TOO
Bids will be sought for replacement of the city's unreliable street sweeper as well. Its needed to maintain the city's EPA storm water runoff permits (MS4) and clean up after parades and other such events, according to Public Work's Director Fidler.
A drilling machine to be used to expedite the replacement of old natural gas lines was also to be purchased. Gas Superintendent Steve Seay said they plan to double the rate of replacement of potentially dangerous lines in older neighborhoods.
