STILL BEHIND SCHEDULE
Work has begun on the exterior of the 2 million gallon water tank on Fairhope Avenue but completion is not expected any time soon; additional workers were hired to expedite completion.
The interior of the tank is not completed yet either.
$200/day penalties were imposed on the contractor for the delay, who did not complete the project in the 180 days allowed by the contract.
